Who is responsible
Holger Gierth, Ligusterweg 10, 33415 Verl, Germany, is responsible for this website. Email partner@wohnalio.de for privacy requests. The publisher is established in Germany; visiting the US edition does not create a US office.
Website delivery and security
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Technical request information, including IP address, request time and browser information, may be processed to deliver pages and prevent abuse. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limiting. This processing is used for operation and security, not for an advertising profile.
Contact messages
If you use the form, we receive your email address, optional name, selected topic and message to handle the inquiry. Security checks include the time the form was started and an anti-spam field. Messages are delivered to our email service; an email-derived hash is used for rate limiting. Do not send Social Security, Medicare, bank, payment-card or password information, or detailed health records.
We use messages to respond and retain them as needed to resolve the matter and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Necessary hosting and email providers process information to operate these services. We do not sell contact messages or send them to potential commercial partners as leads.
Optional analytics and your choices
Google Analytics loads only after an affirmative statistics choice. It measures page views and selected interactions; advertising signals and ad personalization remain disabled. Page URLs sent by our configuration omit query strings. Google may process data in other countries. Choosing necessary storage keeps these analytics disabled.
Your preference is stored in this browser. Use to change it. Withdrawal disables further analytics collection on the site and clears its Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase data already processed. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we keep analytics disabled even if an older saved preference allowed it.
Commercial links and external sites
This edition currently has no US affiliate tracking links. An ordinary external link takes you to a separate site whose operator controls its processing. Before enabling affiliate tracking here, we review the mechanism and update the notice and controls as needed. We do not enable cross-context behavioral advertising on this edition.
Privacy requests and applicable rights
You can ask about access, correction or deletion and object to or restrict processing where applicable. Rights and exceptions depend on the law and circumstances; we do not require a website account to make a request. We may need proportionate verification and will explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfill a request. EU data-protection rules apply to the German controller as appropriate, and you may complain to a competent supervisory authority.
US state privacy laws differ in scope and applicability. California’s Attorney General explains California rights and Global Privacy Control in the official CCPA guidance, checked September 5, 2026. Contact us if you want to exercise an applicable state right or ask us to review a response.
Service information
See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for information about those providers. Our processing purposes are website operation and security, responding to requests, and optional statistics based on consent. We use the applicable legal basis for each purpose, including legitimate interests in secure operation, handling a request or contract, and consent for analytics.
Mailbox provider and repeated submissions
Cloudflare Email Routing forwards WOHNALIO messages to our Gmail mailbox at Google. Google also receives the email data needed to handle the enquiry. Google Ireland Limited generally provides Google services for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland. See Google’s privacy policy and its international data-transfer information.
Cloudflare uses a hash derived from the email address to limit repeated form submissions to three per minute per identifier. This identifier supports spam prevention and is not used for advertising; the message content is not needed for this limit.
