What will two offers cost over time?

Compare upfront, monthly and annual charges separately. Blank amounts remain unknown; a refundable deposit is shown separately.

Two offers, the same period

Enter figures from two comparable quotes. Use the same currency and service scope. No supplier prices are provided here.

No thousands separators; up to two decimal places. Use a dot or comma for decimals. Enter 0 only for a confirmed no-charge item; blank means unknown. Maximum 1,000,000 per field.

Use complete consumer prices including applicable taxes for both offers. The check does not calculate taxes or funding.

This tool processes amounts on this open page only, without persistent storage or transmission. Use Reset figures to clear visible entries. Your browser may restore pages when you go back.

How the calculation works, and its limits

  • Known costs = upfront charges + monthly charge × months + annual charge × the number of twelve-month periods rounded up.
  • Upfront charges and the first monthly and annual charges are assumed payable at the start. Annual charges are prepaid. A six-month period therefore includes one full annual charge.
  • An expressly refundable deposit is shown separately and is not counted as consumed cost. Repayment is not guaranteed; retained or non-refundable amounts belong in charges.
  • Starting payments include known upfront charges, the first monthly and annual charge, and the deposit. An exact monthly payment schedule is not calculated.
  • Not modelled: price changes, discounts, variable usage, repairs, finance, resale value, tax recalculation, funding or cancellation charges. The selected period does not change a contractual minimum term.
  • A lower amount does not establish suitability or equal service. Calling a relative and reaching a continuously staffed monitoring centre, for example, are different services.

The check organises your figures only. It does not review a contract or recommend a provider.

Before agreeing to an offer

  1. Are the service scope, support and availability genuinely comparable?
  2. What other upfront, recurring or usage-based charges apply?
  3. What is the minimum term, how can I cancel, and what charges remain?
  4. Is the deposit fully refundable, under which conditions, and when?
  5. Which functions remain available without an extra subscription or during an outage?
